Uwe is a very ''sporthorse'' looking (not heavy and hairy!) Friesian. He is purebred and has registration papers with FHANA. His inbreeding coefficient is 2.34%. He is microchipped. I have owned Uwe since he was 8 months old. I have sadly decided to sell him (due to time constraints and the fact that I am putting more money into my horse breeding business). This horse has been my ''best horse friend'' for many years. I was the first one on his back - he was so easy to train! He was shown at Training and First Levels by a professional several years ago. He did very well, scoring in the high 60's and 70s with many 8's on gaits. He even scored a perfect ''10'' on a halt! He has been in professional training on and off through the years, most recently with a young German lady. He was also in full-time training for almost a year with the famous JP Giacomini. Uwe can perform flying changes, and he also knows some piaffe and passage. I even saw him perform Levade once with JP. He is a very easy keeper, only eating a small amount of pellets in the a.m. & p.m. and coastal hay. He is not on any special vitamins or supplements - he doesn't need them. He can live in pasture or a stall. He is sound as can be and has never taken a lame step. He has never been sick. He will stand for grooming all day long and he is the most forgiving horse under saddle that you will ever ride. He is in a great mood all the time! He has big animated gaits, but goes on the bit nicely and is an easy ride. He has a canter to-die-for and can depart into a canter practically from a standstill. His extensions are bold and his lateral work is poetry in motion. He needs to go to someone that will show him and let him shine in the dressage arena! This horse can take a beginner up through the levels. JP and others have stated that THIS HORSE CAN GO GRAND PRIX. He goes super in the double bridle - he has been in the double since he was 6 years old and still goes great in a snaffle too. I have taught him how to do Spanish Walk from the ground - he can do it a little bit under saddle as well. I cannot say enough about the beauty and personality of this horse. Many in the Houston area know him - he is kind of a celebrity! Go try all the rest and end up here, buying the BEST! This horse is a total character and loves everybody.
